This refers to the right to use copyrighted material without the need to pay royalties or license fees for each use.
I have chosen to look into creative commons, an example of this is YouTube as it allows users to mark their videos with a Creative Commons CC BY licence. These videos are then accessible to YouTube users for use, even commercially.
There are certain places where you can access royalty free music to use for projects meaning that you won't have to worry about paying anyone or getting in trouble with copyright laws.
Youtube has an audio library which has a collection of sounds and music for any creator to use on their project. Youtube has a page that tells you information about the tracks that are free audio and other conditions about what track are copyright etc.
